Cyber Security Manager - Energetic Workplace

Role Description:

This is a contract Cyber Security Engineer role at Ojasys LLC, based in the Hampton Roads, Virginia Metropolitan Area. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cyber Security Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in IT security, with a strong background in management or leadership roles. As a Cyber Security Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing security policies and procedures, managing the IT audit process for SOC & PCI reporting, and ensuring the overall security of our organization's IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and implementation of security policies and procedures to protect the organization's IT infrastructure.
• Manage the entire IT audit process for SOC & PCI reporting across the enterprise.
• Stay updated on the latest cyber security threats, trends, and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify security risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Conduct regular security assessments and penetration tests to identify vulnerabilities and weaknesses.
• Implement and manage a diverse range of technical cyber tools and software to enhance security measures.
• Provide leadership and guidance to junior members of the cyber security team.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards such as HIPAA, ITIL, NIST, SANS, COBIT, OWASP, and ISO.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in IT security, with at least good years of experience in a management or lead role.
• Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Certification, or similar certification.
• Extensive experience developing and implementing security policies and procedures.
• In-depth knowledge of cyber security principles and best practices.
• Strong working knowledge of network engineering principles and practices.
• Familiarity with industry standards such as HIPAA, ITIL, NIST, SANS, COBIT, OWASP, and ISO.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
