Employment Type: Full-time 

Location: Southwestern PA, and varying BGCWPA locations

Status: Salaried/Exempt 

Hours: Afternoons / Nights / Weekends 

Compensation: $80,000

The Role

The Mobile Clubhouse Director leads the CyberBus Mobile Clubhouse—an innovative partnership between BGCWPA and the Jerome Bettis Bus Stops Here Foundation—bringing high-quality youth programming directly into communities. This role drives mobile operations, staff leadership, safety, and compliance while creating a dynamic, supportive environment where youth thrive. As the leader of a “clubhouse on wheels,” the Director delivers engaging programs throughout the week and on select weekends, ensuring every stop reflects BGCWPA’s mission and culture.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Youth Program Quality

  • Lead and supervise mobile program staff to ensure safe, inclusive, and high-quality youth experiences.
     
  • Implement engaging, age-appropriate programs aligned with BGCWPA’s youth development strategy.
     
  • Foster a positive, mission-driven culture that promotes belonging, accountability, and fun.
     
  • Support staff through coaching, feedback, and ongoing professional development.
     

Mobile Operations & Safety

  • Oversee daily mobile operations, including driving, setup, breakdown, and secure transport of the CyberBus.
     
  • Manage mobile site logistics including routes, parking, generators, equipment, and supplies.
     
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols, emergency procedures, and organizational policies.
     
  • Maintain the mobile unit and report maintenance or service needs promptly.
     

Program Management & Reporting

  • Track enrollment, attendance, participation, and outcomes.
     
  • Complete required reports for internal leadership and grant/funder compliance.
     
  • Manage membership forms, permissions, and required documentation accurately and on time.
     

Community Engagement & Partnerships

  • Serve as the primary liaison to families, schools, and community partners at mobile sites.
     
  • Build and maintain strong relationships that support program visibility, access, and sustainability.
     
  • Represent BGCWPA professionally in the community and promote Mobile Club programming.
     

Administrative & Compliance Duties

  • Ensure all administrative, licensing, and organizational requirements are met.
     
  • Maintain accurate records, inventory, and documentation.
     
  • Participate in staff meetings, training, and organizational planning efforts.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; relevant youth development experience required.
     
  • Minimum of 2–3 years of experience working with youth in a group setting.
     
  • Demonstrated leadership, organization, and staff supervision skills.
     
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with diverse communities.
     
  • Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
     
  • CDL preferred or must have the Ability to obtain CDL within 4-8 weeks of hire.
     
  • CPR and First Aid certification (or ability to obtain).
     

Work Environment & Schedule

  • Full-time; schedule varies and includes evenings and weekends.
     
  • Frequent outdoor work and physical activity related to mobile setup and breakdown.
     
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs and remain active throughout program hours.

Who You Will Report To 

BGCWPA Chief Operating Officer

 

Compensation

Competitive salary starting at $80,000 annually. Comprehensive benefits, including medical and dental insurance, 401(k) match, and generous paid time off.

Location

Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. This position requires frequent travel to Club sites and community events, with at least 75% of time spent on-site engaging with staff, community members, and partners.

Certifications and Clearances 

BGCPWA prioritizes the safety of the youth we serve. CPR, Pediatric First Aid, Child Abuse, Criminal History, FBI clearance, NSOR certificate, PA Disclosure, PA Staff Health Assessment, TB Test, and Mandated Reporter certification required upon hire.
