Position Overview

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Incident Response & Threat Detection Analyst to provide 24x7 cybersecurity monitoring, threat detection, and incident response support for a large enterprise environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor SIEM and cybersecurity monitoring platforms.
• Investigate alerts, suspicious activity, and cybersecurity incidents.
• Perform root cause analysis of security events.
• Analyze network and host-based activity for indicators of compromise.
• Conduct malware analysis and incident investigations.
• Support implementation of defense-in-depth security controls.
• Develop scripts and automation tools to enhance detection capabilities.
• Utilize threat intelligence resources to identify emerging threats.
• Document findings, remediation actions, and lessons learned.

Required Qualifications

• Active DoD Top Secret Clearance.
• Eligible for SCI access.
• Eligible for IT-I Critical Sensitive/Tier 5 clearance.
• 5+ years of cybersecurity experience.
• 2+ years performing incident response and root cause analysis.
• Knowledge of security technologies including:
  • Firewalls
  • IDS/IPS
  • Endpoint Protection
  • Vulnerability Management
  • Data Loss Prevention
  • Forensics Tools
• Experience with SIEM platforms.
• Knowledge of Defense-in-Depth security principles.
• Scripting experience using Python, PowerShell, or SPL.
