Cybersecurity Policy Analyst *** Proposal Opportunity 

Position Overview

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Policy Analyst to support the development, review, and implementation of cybersecurity policies and procedures across a DoD environment. The selected candidate will ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards while balancing mission and operational requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and maintain cybersecurity policies and procedures.
• Assess IT security policies, standards, and governance frameworks.
• Provide guidance on cybersecurity compliance requirements.
• Support implementation of DoD cybersecurity directives.
• Brief leadership on policy updates and compliance initiatives.
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure alignment between security and operational objectives.
• Conduct policy analysis and recommend improvements.

Required Qualifications

• Active DoD Top Secret Clearance.
• Eligible for IT-I Critical Sensitive/Tier 5 clearance.
• 7+ years of cybersecurity policy experience.
• Experience supporting DoD cybersecurity programs.
• Strong understanding of DoD cybersecurity policies and governance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience briefing senior leadership.
