Job Description - Cyberspace Readiness & Joint Training Specialist


 

OCH Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Cyberspace Readiness and Joint Training Specialist to support the Department of Defense (DoD) in all phases of cyberspace readiness and joint training operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong experience in cyber operations, readiness assessments, and joint training processes, with the ability to propose risk mitigation strategies and support integrated mission requirements across cyber and critical domains.

Fort Belvoir, VA

Core Responsibilities & Duties 

  • Support all phases of the Joint Training System (JTS), including; analyzing mission requirements, developing training objectives and plans, executing, observing, and evaluating training events and conducting ongoing readiness assessments. 
  • Ensure mission readiness by analyzing requirements, developing and executing training plans, evaluating readiness reports, and providing expert recommendations to leadership. 
  • Evaluate readiness reports to ensure they provide accurate, actionable information. 
  • Compile readiness data into meaningful indicators to support decision-making and risk assessment. 
  • Enable understanding of integrated cyber and mission requirements during periods of operational constraints. 
  • Propose cyberspace courses of action to mitigate mission risk and enhance readiness. 
  • Prepare, support, and participate in joint training meetings and develop after-action reports and lessons learned. 
  • Track integrated actions to closure and escalate findings as necessary to support enterprise risk governance. 
  • Utilize Government-provided automated tools to execute assigned tasks in compliance with established processes and timelines. 
  • Perform other duties, as assigned. 

Responsibilities may evolve over time to support team and organizational goals, but will remain consistent with the overall scope of the role. 


Requirements

 

Minimum Qualifications 

Education 

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or equivalent years of relevant work experience   

Experience 

  • At least five (5)+ years of relevant IT or Cybersecurity experience 
  • Proven knowledge of cyberspace readiness, risk mitigation, and joint training processes 
  • Experience supporting Joint Training System (JTS) processes within a DoD environment 

Security Clearance Requirement 

Candidate must have an active Top Secret clearance 

Candidate must also have eligibility for a Tier 5 (T5) / IT-I Critical Sensitive clearance 

Licenses/Certifications  

DoD 8570 IAT Level III certification 

Other Required Skills and Abilities 

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills for interfacing with leadership, staff, and joint training stakeholders. 
  • Familiarity with enterprise risk management and integrated business risk governance 
  • Strong analytical skills to assess readiness data and provide actionable recommendations. 
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct after-action reporting, lessons learned, and risk mitigation planning in cyber mission contexts. 
  • Must be able to effectively communicate with customer and fulfill all duties and responsibilities as listed in the contract.  
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite including, but not limited to: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
