Cytology Prep Technician - Evenings - Full Time

Prepare GYN and non-GYN  smears and stain them according to the type of specimen, coverslip and arrange numerically on trays; prepare reagents and other solutions used in the laboratory in accordance with established procedures. Maintain quality assurance and quality control standards as set by the hospital and laboratory. 

This is a full-time evening shift position working 3:30 PM to 11:30 PM Monday - Friday. 

Preferred Criteria

• Previous Laboratory Experience

Required Criteria

• High School Diploma or GED
• NYS Laboratory Technologist license or Clinical Laboratory Technician license from the NYS Education Department
