Are you experienced in the collision repair industry? Bill Dodge Auto Group is BUSY, and we need an energetic Damage Analysis Estimator who enjoys challenges, works well with others, and thrives in a multi-tasking environment. Successful execution of the position requires skills in collision repair and time management, it also requires the ability to learn, follow processes, remain organized, positively interact with all parties, and take and follow direction.

Estimating experience or Technician experience is a requirement for this role!

Compensation: $75,000 to $100,000 per year

Responsibilities:

•       Writes teardown schedule with assigned tech information and shares with the shop for planning and production purposes


•          Completes all pre and post scans on every vehicle coming in or out daily


•         Prior to the dismantling of a vehicle, reviews work order with technician, goes through sublet to identify sublets and uses checkmark system on rear window to ensure they’re not missed. This should include pre and post scan, mount and balance, wheel repair, etc.


• Participate in developing a proper repair plan for each vehicle


• Oversee the dismantling of the vehicle to the point where a qualified technician can see all damage. Ensure that all hidden damages are uncovered during the damage analysis process before the repairs begin and document this process accordingly.


• Writes supplement to include all additional damage up front before vehicle leaves the teardown booth


• Prepare estimates in accordance with Insurance partner and company guidelines


• Maintain and execute a timely schedule before, during, and after completion of repairs


• Communicate supplements to customers and insurance companies on the same business day as written. Participate in Damage Analysis process.


• Ensure customers' cars are ready for proper re-delivery

Job Requirements/Qualifications:

•          Satisfactory Background Check


• Previous Estimator experience experience required.


• Understands basic math computations required to perform job functions.


• Identifies and resolves problems in a timely and professional manner.


• Writes clearly and informatively, self-edits work for grammar and spelling, reads and interprets written information.


• Positive and friendly manner


• Computer proficient in Microsoft Office programs.


• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information


• Excellent oral and written communication skills


• Be a dedicated, energetic, team player who wants to join our ever-growing network of dealerships


• Value the customer experience by providing outstanding customer service


• Valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record.
