Data Analyst

Summary:

The Data Analyst is primarily responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to support decision-making across all departments, including marketing, editorial, supply chain, acquisitions, and operations. Ideal candidates will be detail-oriented, analytically minded, and proactive in identifying trends, solving problems, and providing actionable insights to help drive business performance.

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Business, Statistics, or a related field


• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in a data analyst or similar role


• Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)


• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills


• Ability to organize and interpret large datasets to identify key insights


• Experience working with e-commerce, marketing, and/or supply chain data preferred


• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Job Responsibilities:

1. Business & Marketing Insights
   
   
   
   1. Analyze sales, marketing, and website data to measure performance and support growth strategies.
   
   
   2. Create reports and dashboards that help track KPIs across digital campaigns, email performance, customer behavior, and more.
   
   
   3. Collaborate with the marketing team to assess campaign effectiveness and inform future content and promotion strategies.
   
   
   
   


2. Production & Supply Chain Reporting
   
   
   
   1. Monitor inventory and supply chain operations to anticipate low inventory.
   
   
   2. Support purchasing and fulfillment teams by providing accurate forecasting models based on historical data and seasonal trends.
   
   
   
   


3. Cross-Departmental Collaboration
   
   
   
   1. Partner with editorial, operations, marketing, and leadership teams to understand business needs and provide data-driven solutions.
   
   
   2. Translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations.
   
   
   3. Support product development and release strategies with research and performance data.
   
   
   
   


4. Data Integrity & Process Improvement
   
   
   
   1. Maintain clean, accurate datasets through consistent data validation and integrity checks.
   
   
   2. Help develop internal processes and tools that promote efficient data collection and reporting.
   
   
   3. Continuously seek out opportunities to automate repetitive reporting tasks and improve internal analytics capabilities.
