Data Analyst - On-site/hybrid

The Data Analyst is responsible for developing, administering and supporting the company's business intelligence platform. This is an onsite position at our Headquarters in Columbia, MD.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Works with IS and System Support to mine data and automate reports and processes

• Participates in Product Teams to understand how users are using systems, how to improve data

quality and how to prioritize requested work

• Learns data table structure for erecruit and myUnity

• Helps create blueprint for data warehouse with IS, Finance, and operations resources

• Edits data to discard irrelevant information

• Intakes customer requests and provides customer service for inquires

• Identifies process improvements within departments

• Assists in creation of reporting to drive organizational goals

• Provides data visualizations through BI tools (such as Tableau) for company

• Works independently with little supervision on projects as needed

• Performs other duties as assigned/necessary

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in math, statistics, computer strongly preferred with a minor in finance or

business

• Two to five (2-5) years of experience in the healthcare, credit, IS, or finance industry preferred

• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills

• Proficiency of SQL

• Proficiency of Business Intelligence visualization software (such as Tableau)

• Superior organization skills and teamwork skills

• Ability to effectively elicit/provide information to and from appropriate individuals (including,

but not limited to, supervisors, co-workers, clients) via strong communication skills; proficiency

in the English language may be required
