Position Summary
The Data Analytics Analyst I the development and maintenance of reports, dashboards, and data analyses that help inform decision-making across Ithaca College. Working under the guidance of senior analysts, this entry-level position collaborates with other analysts and college stakeholders to deliver accurate, meaningful data and continuously develops proficiency in analytic tools, methodologies, and AI technologies. The position supports the college’s human-centered approach to AI by using technology to enhance analysis while ensuring that human judgment guides all decisions. This role also contributes to Data Governance and Data Literacy initiatives.
Supervision
This position reports to the Director of Analytics and Special IT Projects.

The Data Analytics Analyst I at Ithaca College is an entry-level position. Candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree in business, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field, and should be able to demonstrate the following:

Hiring Range:
$63,000-$65,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
