My client is a global credit hedge fund based in New York that is looking for a talented Data Analytics & Reporting Developer to join their high-performing team and deliver innovative solutions that power their credit trading business in New York.

This role offers the chance to work directly with Portfolio Managers, Traders, Risk Management and Senior Management, making a visible impact across the firm.

Responsibilities:

• Own the full lifecycle of enterprise-grade data delivery applications, from business analysis and architecture to development and deployment.
• Partner with internal developers and application vendors to design, build, and integrate sophisticated analytics and reporting solutions.
• Enhance and expand data delivery systems used by Portfolio Managers and Quant Analysts.
• Drive projects that deliver analytics and reporting for:
• Senior Management decision-making
• Front Office Portfolio Managers
• Risk Management
• Lead and collaborate offshore development teams to deliver on business goals.
• Build tools to manage, monitor, and enrich data flows, while innovating dashboard capabilities to make insights more accessible.

Requirements:

• Proven track record of academic and professional excellence.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
• 7+ years of relevant experience in the financial industry, preferably within investment management
• Strong background in data modeling and data warehousing.
• Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms; experience with Microsoft Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, and Snowflake.
