Job Description:

Data Designing, balancing optimization of data access with batch loading, and resourceE utilization factors enterprise-wide.
Focusing on enterprise-wide data modeling and design.
Defining data architecture standards, policies and procedures for the organization,E structure, attributes, and nomenclature of data elements, and applying accepted dataE content standards to technology projects.
Analyzing business, data acquisition and accessing analysis and design, database systemsE optimization, recovery strategy and load strategy design and implementation.
Expert/lead technical role.
Defining and planning database architectures for enterprise systems.
Working on multiple projects as a project leader or as the subject matter expert.
Working on projects/issues of high complexity that require in-depth knowledge acrossE multiple technical areas and business segments.
Coaching and mentoring more junior technical staff.
Working with other architects on data decisions and data strategy.
Identifying data sources needed for solution.
Ensuring data security is implemented for solutions.
Qualifications and Experience:

Master's or bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or other related field/equivalent work experience.
A minimum of seven (7) years of experience with large and complex database management systems.
A minimum of seven (7) years of experience with providing technical support for maintenance of new and existing servers and database infrastructure services.
Advanced level experience in cloud architecture and implementation.
Leadership experience with managing and completing complex projects relevant to server/database infrastructure services;
Advanced to expert level knowledge and understanding of architecture, applications, systems design, and integration.
Experience with The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF) and/or familiarity with other Enterprise Architecture frameworks.
Knowledgeable in most aspects of designing and constructing data architectures, operational data stores, and data marts.
Preference will be given to those with:

Proven work experience as Data Architect, Data Scientist, Data Steward, or similar role.
In-depth understanding of database structure principles.
Experience gathering and analyzing system requirements.
Knowledge of data mining and segmentation techniques.
Expertise in SQL and other relational database management systems (mySQL, MongoDB, SAS).
Familiarity with data visualization tools (tableau, D3.js, and R).
