Data Architect - Interfell (Remote)

The Data Architect is responsible for designing scalable data architectures that support the integration of multiple data sources. This role defines technical standards, ensures data quality and governance, and enables efficient data processing across the platform.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable and secure data architecture solutions
• Define data organization strategies and architecture layers
• Establish standards for data ingestion and transformation
• Define CI/CD practices for data pipelines
• Establish governance, metadata, and access control guidelines
• Ensure data quality and consistency across systems
• Optimize architecture for performance and scalability
• Collaborate with engineering teams during implementation
• Provide technical guidance and validate architecture decisions

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Experience designing data architectures or data platforms
• Knowledge of data modeling and integration concepts
• Experience with cloud-based data solutions (AWS or similar)
• Understanding of data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes
• Experience with SQL and scripting languages (Python or similar)
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices
• Understanding of data governance and quality standards

Nice to Have

• Experience with Data Lake architectures
• Knowledge of distributed data processing frameworks
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools
• Familiarity with cloud cost optimization
