Data Center Administrator

Essential Duties:

• Aimed to support DC Operations and Facilities Managers, allowing focus on strategic projects.
• Opportunity for growth through onsite and professional training.
• Grounds maintenance, janitorial inventory upkeep.
• Support for operational and facility tasks.
• Participation in business continuity and on-call responsibilities.
• Occasional travel to other data centers.
• Intended to handle non-critical daily tasks with potential growth into a higher-level technician role.

 Education/Training/Experience:

• Basic knowledge of vendor management
• Basic knowledge of monitoring critical electrical and mechanical systems
• Basic knowledge of SOP / MOP documentation
• Basic knowledge of shipping and receiving best practices.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook
• Must be able to write at a high school graduate level. Communicating via E-mail and writing documentation with clear, concise information will be key for this role.
• A basic understanding of budgets
• Basic knowledge of site safety programs and initiatives
