Data Consultant 1
Spokane, WA
Reporting to the Maintenance Specialist 4, this position is responsible for performing a variety of production control processes including data entry, programs, planning, and expediting work tasks in direct support of assigned facilities and Real Property Installed Equipment (RPIE) utilizing maintenance work order systems.

This is a civilian position and does not require military service affiliation.

Responsibilities include:

Compiles, updates and maintains the Real Property Installed Equipment (RPIE) data.
Enters preventative maintenance and work orders into maintenance database to coordinate facility maintenance work utilizing the work order management system.
Assists in a variety of production control processes including planning, estimating, scheduling, and expediting work tasks.
Develops, prepares, and presents narrative reports.
Evaluating data, graphs, tables and charts.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Three years of experience entering or compiling data; running, writing, and/or editing data reports; database management; data analysis; or customer service experience working with a computerized maintenance work order system.

College level education in business administration may substitute on a year for year basis for the experience requirement.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience:

Working with a facility maintenance and web-based facilities work order management system.
Working Knowledge:

Wide range of building construction types (foundation, structure, envelop, and systems).
Building repairs and maintenance including plumbing, electrical, mechanical, roofing, and paving.
Skills and Abilities to:

Review work orders to determine priorities and maintain up-to-date records of planned and completed maintenance utilizing computer database program.
Use Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint) to develop documents in support of program requirements.
Manage a web-based facilities work order management system.

Background Investigation:

Must successfully complete the appropriate background checks required for employment and to obtain/maintain a DoD Common Access Card (CAC) in order to obtain/maintain a DoD Secret-level security clearance.

Must be willing to sign releases of information and shall not have access to any investigative materials and files.

The processing of background checks can take up to six months post-employment.

Failure to successfully pass a background check may be cause for termination.

Union Shop Provision:

his position is covered by a union shop provision - Washington Public Employees Association.

Driver's License:
Valid to drive in the State of Washington.
Must meet requirements of the REAL ID Act.

This is required for base access and will be required upon hire.
Military Facility:

Willingness to work on a Military Controlled Access Installation.

Camp Murray and Fairchild AFB use the Defense Biometric Identification System (DBIDS) for entry to the installation.

Must meet access requirements / background check which can be found in the

Camp Murray Access Requirements Policy (Unified Policy No. 18-01

).

This includes possession of an Enhanced Driver’s License, or other REAL ID Compliant Identification.
Work Hours :

A choice between a Tuesday through Friday (4/10 schedule): Monday through Thursday (4/10 schedule): or Monday through Friday (5/8 schedule).

Actual hours will start no earlier than 6:00 am and end no later than 6:00 pm and will include core business hours of 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Emergency Assignment:

Upon activation of the State Emergency Operations Center (SEOC) or Joint Field Office (JFO), incumbent may be required to work in an alternate location with rotating shifts, including weekends and evenings, in a highly stressful and fast-paced environment.

Travel:

Occasional statewide travel may be required.
