Data Engineer (CVT - 002)

Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph required.

Job Description:

-Troubleshoot and resolve complex data engineering and software development problems. 

-Ensure the reliability, performance, scalability, and security of  critical production systems and platforms. 

-Work with a collaborative Kanban data team to manage Tier  3 requests and help build and maintain Cloud software and  infrastructure that supports the enterprise. 

-Implement continuous integration and deployment into  development, testing, and production environments.

Required Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience in operations support, systems administration, data operations, or technical support

-Experience troubleshooting complex technical issues across applications,  infrastructure, or data environments

-Experience designing, developing, and tuning complex data ingestion, routing, and  transformation workflows using data flow management tools

-Knowledge of data platforms, databases, ETL or data flow processes, and system  monitoring tools

-Ability to work independently, prioritize operational issues, and respond  effectively in high-tempo environments

-Bachelor’s degree in a CS or Engineering field 

-Ability to obtain a Security+ Certification within 6 months of hire date

Preferred Qualifications:

-Experience working in secure, regulated, or classified environmentsExperience with Kubernetes, Helm, ArgoCD, or related orchestration tools 

-Experience designing and implementing real-time data and streaming architectures  using Apache Kafka 

-Experience extending Apache NiFi by writing custom processors, controller services,  and utilities using Java

-Knowledge of AWS services, including RDS and S3 

-Possession of strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills Possession of strong written and verbal communication skills
