Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to build and own the data platform and infrastructure. This role involves designing systems that power transaction processing, analytics, reporting, and real -time insights across a global financial product.

You will work on high -integrity financial data systems where correctness, auditability, and consistency are critical.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable data platforms and infrastructure
  
• Develop systems for transaction processing, analytics, and reporting
  
• Build and maintain data pipelines for real -time and batch processing
  
• Work closely with backend systems to ensure accurate data capture and transformation
  
• Design data models and pipeline architecture from the ground up
  
• Ensure data consistency, reliability, and auditability across systems
  
• Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate data workflows with backend services

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience building and shipping data pipelines and platforms
  
• Strong experience with data modeling, ETL/ELT, or event -driven systems
  
• Experience working with backend systems and databases such as PostgreSQL and Redis
  
• Familiarity with cloud environments, preferably AWS
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in financial technology or fintech systems
  
• Full -stack engineering capabilities and ability to work across different layers of the stack
