Data Engineer - with Great Benefits

Mastech Digital provides digital and mainstream technology staff as well as Digital Transformation Services for all American Corporations. We are currently seeking a Data Engineer for our client in the Consulting domain. We value our professionals, providing comprehensive benefits and the opportunity for growth. This is a Contract position, and the client is looking for someone to start immediately.

Duration: 6+ Months Contract, with possibility of extension

Location: Richmond, VA (Hybrid – 3 days a week in office)

Interview Process: 2 rounds max.

Primary Skills: Python

Role Description: As a Data Engineer, you must have at least 3+ years of experience.

Required:

- Understanding of Data landscape.

- Strong knowledge of Hadoop, PySpark, Python.

- Understanding of Data Privacy Elements and Confidential data.

- Good communication.

- Knowledge of Capital Markets and Corporate Commercial Banking.

- Good analytical ability and problem-solving skills.

- Program management skills a plus.

- Experience in any of the Sensitive Data Discovery/Data Profiling/Data Masking Products will be a big plus.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Information Technology or another related field or Equivalent

Experience: Minimum 3+ years of experience

Relocation: This position will not cover relocation expenses

Travel: No

Local Preferred: Yes

Note: Must be able to work on a W2 basis (No C2C)
