Data Engineering Intern - Start Now

The Data Engineering Intern will be responsible for assisting with data management tasks that include design, development, and analysis to help meet the data needs of the company. You will work closely with other members of the team to ensure that data is stored, processed, transformed, and analyzed efficiently, accurately and securely.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Work with a cross-functional technical team composed of frontend developers, software engineers, data scientists, and product designers.
• The candidate will be a key player in enhancing our data engineering capabilities in data ingestion, transformation, extraction, and analytics.
• Collect and arrange data in form that is useful for the Data Science team.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues with data pipeline and infrastructure.
• Help with the implementation of data warehousing solutions, data pipeline and difference data faucets.

Qualifications:

Required education and experience:

• Experience: 1+ years of experience in data engineering, software engineering with a focus in data or a related role.
• Familiar with storage solutions such as SQL databases, data lakes and data warehouses.
• Experience working with data structures, developing API’s, developing API driven architectures.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic experience with Version Control. (Git)
• Familiarity with REST API, Web Services, JSON, and cloud environments (AWS CLI, AWS, Azure)

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
