Data Entry Operator II

Venatore , a recognized leader in records management and digitization services for the Department of Defense, is seeking a skilled Data Entry Operator II to support Army INSCOM at Fort Belvoir. The successful candidate will possess a Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility at the time of application and will be responsible for operating keyboard-controlled data entry devices to transcribe data into a format suitable for computer processing. This role is essential for maintaining accurate and up-to-date records critical to Army INSCOM’s operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Entry Operations :

Operate keyboard-controlled data entry devices such as computers, key-operated magnetic tape, or disc encoders.

Transcribe data accurately and efficiently into a format suitable for computer processing.

Equipment Proficiency :

Skillfully operate an alphanumeric keyboard.

Understand and effectively use transcribing procedures and relevant data entry equipment.

Data Interpretation and Coding :

Apply experience and judgment in selecting appropriate procedures for data entry tasks.

Search for, interpret, select, and code items to be entered from a variety of document sources.

Quality Assurance :

Ensure accuracy and consistency in data entry.

Perform regular quality checks to maintain high standards of data integrity.

Documentation and Reporting :

Maintain comprehensive records of data entry activities.

Generate reports as required to support operational needs.

Qualifications:

Security Clearance : Must possess a current Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.

Experience : 3-5 years of proven experience in data entry operations. Prior experience in accurately entering and managing large volumes of data and familiarity with entering data into various types of databases and software applications.

Technical Skills :

Proficiency in operating an alphanumeric keyboard.

Understanding of transcribing procedures and data entry equipment.

Analytical Skills :

Ability to apply experience and judgment in selecting procedures.

Competence in searching for, interpreting, selecting, and coding items from various document sources.

Attention to Detail : High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry tasks.

Organizational Skills : Strong organizational skills to manage and document data entry processes.

Training Requirements:

Successful applicants must complete the following web-based training prior to beginning work:

Information Assurance Related Training (Cyber Awareness)

Intelligence Oversight and Civil Liberties

Operations Security (OPSEC)

Threat Awareness & Reporting Program (TARP)

Derivative Classification

Anti-Terrorism (AT) Training (Contractor)

Foreign Disclosure, Rules of the Road

Information Security (Annual Security Refresher Training – INSCOM)

DoD Mandatory Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) Training
