Job Title: Data Entry Specialist (Local Only/Remote)
Location: Phoenix, AZ (Local Candidates Only)
Duration: 10 months + 3 days (Contract until 07/31/2026)
Shift Hours: Monday – Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM (40 Hours/Week)
Job Description:
SOAZ - Req #8166 - AZDHS - Division of Public Health Preparedness is seeking a Data Entry Specialist to support the Bureau of Infectious Disease and Services. This role involves specialized administrative duties, including accurate and timely data entry, quality control to prevent duplicates, sorting of records, supporting data collection from laboratories, and general administrative assistance.
This position reports to the Office Chief of the Office of Infectious Disease Surveillance and Epidemiology and will work with confidential health information, requiring adherence to ADHS confidentiality policies. Candidates must have a private workspace and their own computer/laptop.
Required Skills:
- 2+ years of data entry experience
- Experience in the health field
- Ability to provide own computer/laptop for the role
- High School Diploma or higher
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with medical data software (Medsic, EHARS, Prism)
- Medical data entry experience
