Labeling Analyst (Hybrid – Pittsburgh, PA)
Location: Pittsburgh, PA (Hybrid: 2–3 days/week onsite)
Pay: $30.00-$32.00 an Hour

About the Role
We are helping our client hire a Labeling Analyst to support data annotation efforts that power cutting-edge machine learning systems in autonomous driving. You’ll work with internal tools and cross-functional teams to ensure the accuracy and quality of labeled data for Perception, Motion Planning, and other critical ML systems.

This is a hybrid role. Candidates must be located in the Pittsburgh, PA area and be available to work onsite 2–3 days per week.

What You’ll Do

• Review and validate labeled datasets using internal and third-party tools

• Identify and document defects, unlabeled or mislabeled items

• Track issues, summarize findings, and contribute to internal reports

• Submit bug reports and feature requests with clear documentation

• Partner with technical teams to test labeling tools and develop user guides

• Act as a liaison across operations, engineering, and quality teams

• Support additional QA and analytics tasks related to labeling operations

What You’ll Bring

• 1+ years of experience in data labeling, preferably in the autonomous vehicle or AI space

• Strong understanding of labeling guidelines and the ability to apply them in QA review

• Excellent written communication skills, especially for documentation and reporting

• Comfortable using spreadsheets and basic data analysis (e.g., aggregating statistics in Google Sheets)

• Highly collaborative with the ability to work across both operational and technical teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with labeling QA in the AV or AI industry

• Familiarity with automation tools and process optimization
