Data Migration Expert

Paradise Architectural PANELS & STEEL is a leading provider of high-quality architectural panels and steel products. Our company has been in operation for over 20 years, and we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional products and services to our clients. We are currently seeking a Data Migration Expert to join our team and help us manage our data migration processes.

This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits package. The Data Migration Expert will report directly to the IT Manager and will work closely with other members of our IT team.

As a Data Migration Expert, you will be responsible for managing the transfer of data from our current systems to new systems. This will involve working closely with our IT team to understand our data structures and processes and developing strategies for efficient and accurate data migration. You will also be responsible for testing and troubleshooting the migration process to ensure data integrity and minimal disruption to our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Analyze current data structures and processes to determine the best approach for data migration

- Develop and implement data migration plans and strategies

- Collaborate with IT team to ensure compatibility and accuracy of data in new systems

- Test and troubleshoot data migration processes to ensure data integrity

- Develop and maintain documentation of data migration processes and procedures

- Communicate progress and any issues to IT Manager and other stakeholders

- Provide training and support to end-users on new systems and data migration processes

- Stay updated on industry best practices and new technologies related to data migration

- Continuously evaluate and improve data migration processes for efficiency and effectiveness

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in data migration or a similar role

- Strong knowledge of data structures and database management

- Experience with data migration tools and software

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
