Data Modeling Specialist (Erwin, Oracle, SQL Server)
Columbia SC (Onsite)---Locals Only
Need Overall 10+Years of experience
3 References from the recent projects are must.
Key duties and Responsibilities
- Create and update data models and documentation using ERWIN
- Performing reverse and forward engineering of database structures.
- Providing best practices for data modeling, metadata management, and documentation.
- Designing, developing, and maintaining logical and physical data models using ERwin Data Modeler.
- Ensuring database designs support scalability, integrity, and performance requirements.
- Identify data integrity and consistency issues. Provide reporting and recommendations to address the issues.
- Identify and aid with duplicate data resolution.
- Collaborating with data architects, DBAs, developers, and business analysts to translate business requirements into data models.
- Managing version control of data models and maintaining model repositories.
- Supporting data governance and compliance initiatives through effective data modeling strategies.
- Same modeling activities may be required for MS SQL databases. ORACLE and MS SQL production support activities as needed and directed by the DBA manager.
Required Skills
- 5 + years of Data Modelling Experience. ie ERWIN
- 5 + Oracle 18/19 DBA and/or SQL SERVER 2019, 2022
Education Requirement
Preferred Skills
- 3 + years of Experience with Backup and Restore of Databases
- 3+ year Oracle Grid (Control)
Preferred Certifications:
- Oracle Certified Associate or Other Oracle Certification
Preferred Skills (Rank in Order of Importance):
- SQL Server DBA Certification
- DD BOOST To Support Backup and Restore
- Operations For ORACLE Database
- ORACLE GRID Control
- ORACLE ASM
