Please review the following job description:

Develop, build and maintain data platforms using bare metal infrastructure for running OS and Big data applications
Design and implement fault tolerant systems (High Availability, Disaster Recovery) and create a cloud-native enterprise data platform that drives real-time decision-making.
Define and operationalize the data platform, and map relevant use cases for OS and/or Big Data applications.
Develop, maintain, and improve deployment pipelines for infrastructure, applications and data.
Maintain and ensure operational metadata (logs, performance metrics, etc.) is available for diagnostics.
Build architecture for data and/or Big Data Platforms and distributed systems.
Create automated solutions to deliver analytical capabilities and build new data pipelines.
Analyze information to determine business needs from requests and implement effective technical solutions by providing problem analysis and resolution in a timely manner.
Solve problems of moderate to high complexity and exercise judgment based on the analysis (e.g. modeling, testing, etc.) of multiple sources of information.
Lead small data engineering projects with manageable risks and resource requirements; plays significant roles in larger, more complex initiatives.
Perform feature; functionality demos to small and large audiences designed to promote adoption of core BI platforms.
Enable BI platform consumers by leading consultation sessions designed to address specific use cases, meaningful to business stakeholders (includes developer guidance and best practices).
Requirements Must have Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering or related technical field.
Must have 5 years of progressive experience in data engineering or BI development positions performing/utilizing the following: Performing development and/or architecture with Tableau, MicroStrategy, and QlikView
Utilizing experience with: SQL, Data Modeling, Data Warehousing, Developing Business Objects and Dashboards, AIX, LINUX, Essbase, AbInitio, Software Testing and UAT, Autosys, Oracle, and ServiceNow

Must have at least 1 year experience with: Power BI; and Data Prep Tools, including Alteryx, Tableau Prep, and Power Query
Position may be eligible to work hybrid/remotely but is based out of and reports to Truist offices in Charlotte, NC. Must be available to travel to Charlotte, NC regularly for meetings and reviews with manager and project teams within 24-hours' notice.
