Job Duties:

• Use SQL skills to identify patterns of data quality issues
• Track data quality issues over time to analyze trends and patterns
• Work with internal tools teams to develop tools for continuous data quality analysis and data edits
• Analyze new data sources to determine coverage and accuracy
• Work with engineering teams to test data quality in new features or bug fixes
• Work with Machine Learning teams to test the accuracy of their models
• Determine business impact level for data quality issues
• Determine root cause for data quality errors and make recommendations for long-term solutions
• Develop process improvements to enhance overall data quality
• Resolve all internal data exceptions in timely and accurate manner
• Analyze, query and manipulate data according to defined business rules and procedures
• Be a change agent and drive innovation

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree with 2 to 5 years of experience OR 4+ years of experience in a related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Intermediate SQL knowledge
• Agile methodology knowledge preferred
• Exceptional attention to detail, excellent written and verbal skills
• Have a demonstrated passion for data and working in data-driven organizations.
• Have familiarity with data warehouse technologies and best practices.
• Proven passion and expertise for the data quality discipline: Data profiling, Data Discovery, Information Chain and Root Cause analysis
