Position Function:
Work collaboratively with a team of Data Quality Specialists and with Finance and other departments, to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of data related to children, families, placements services and court hearings. Responsible for correcting inaccurate data, investigating data quality problems and advocating for improvement in data workflows. Reconcile data entered in multiple internal and external data systems to ensure alignment. Validate data, identify and fix data problems, and assist Our Community Our Kids with centralizing and standardizing data across units and programs.
Educational Requirements:
High School Diploma. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Experience Requirements:
Two years of experience with healthcare/business office operations, database management, data entry and billing activities. Must be proficient Microsoft Office with an intermediate skill level in Excel and Outlook. Strong oral and written communication skills.
Functional Requirements:
Familiarity with child welfare preferred. Demonstrated ability to operate comfortably out of multiple systems and databases. Ability to collaborate effectively to solve complex problems.
Occasional exposure to children. Frequent computer usage/typing required. Fast paced environment.
The Data Quality Specialist will have access to confidential records including youth files, foster care and adoption records, and foster parent information. Must maintain confidentiality and follow policies related to personnel records and client records.
