As a Data Science Engineer, you will be expected to take existing data science models and productionalize their operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, including experience with Azure, ETL processes, Python and SQL.
Responsibilities:- Productionalize an existing prototype applying standard software development procedures and deploy on Azure platform.
- Ability to understand, assess, and explain the underlying data science techniques like forecasting and optimization.
- Create and automate data pipelines as necessary.
- Design and develop scripts necessary for the data extraction processes. Automate the data extraction processes if necessary.
- Work on Data analysis and Development related assignments as required.
- Design and write tests to cover as much of the code as possible.
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or other applied mathematical discipline, with at least 1 year of relevant professional experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Operations Research, Computer Science, Data Science, or other applied mathematical discipline, with at least 2 years of relevant professional experience
Job Requirements:Education and Experience:

or
- Bachelor’s degree in Operations Research, Computer Science, Data Science, or other applied mathematical discipline, with at least 2 years of relevant professional experience
- Expertise in statistical and data analysis
- Experienced in Python, SQL & Data Pipelines
- Familiar with Scrum Methodology & JIRA
- Excellent written, verbal skills
- Experience in Microsoft Azure Platform.
- Experience in deploying models on Azure Machine Learning/ AI Studio a plus.
- Travel: 80-100% - most work done at client site
