Job Description - Data Scientist

We are looking for a big data enthusiast and machine learning expert who will have a significant impact on the success of our data science projects, delivering highest quality data, ultimately improving business processes and products with Data Science solutions.

Role & Responsibilities:

You will help us sort, analyze and deliver relevant information from unstructured data gathered and transform it into actionable items with machine learning. You will need to rapidly prototype various algorithmic implementations and test their efficacy using appropriate experimental design and hypothesis validation. You will report to Head of Technology and work with engineers and other teams to solve challenging problems with your data science skills.

Requirements

Hands-on machine learning experience and exposure to NLP

Experience using machine learning, statistical modeling, and other quantitative techniques to solve business problems.

Ability to crunch, process, and prepare large data sets.

Possess understanding of and ability to communicate statistics to experts and non-experts.

Experience building production data pipelines.

Experience with one or more of: C++/C#, Java, Python, SQL

Familiarity with building on one or more of: Spark, Hadoop, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work-experience preferred.

SasS experience preferred.
