JOB SUMMARY FOR Data Scientist:

Seeking a Power BI expert for a Data Scientist opening with a global manufacturing client located in Peoria, IL.
Hybrid: 3 days in office
Pay range: $45-55/hr
RESPONSIBILITIES FOR Data Scientist:

This role is primarily focused on the analysis and dashboard development of pricing data.
Design, develop, and maintain interactive and visually appealing dashboards and reports.
Collaborate and engage stakeholders to understand their data needs in order to deliver quality business intelligence solutions.
Provide visualization and analytics support to high profile Enterprise Strategy Division Projects.
Use visualization and analytic methods to help the Parts Pricing Organization make data-driven decisions.
JOB EXPERIENCE FOR Data Scientist:

Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline (I.e. statistics, economics, mathematics, engineering, finance, computer science/information systems, business analytics, or similar).
2+ years of experience in previous BI role, with Power BI experience (must be recent/current experience).
1+ years of experience using SQL.
Expertise in report and dashboard design for visually appealing and interactive reports.
SKILL REQUIREMENTS FOR Data Scientist:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Experience with DAX, M code programming or Power BI data flows is highly desirable.
Experience with Power BI publication in online workspaces.
Proficiency in data extraction and transformation from various data sources.
