Job Description - Data Scientist- Market mix modeling

Tiger Analytics is looking for experienced Data Scientists to join our fast-growing advanced analytics consulting firm. Our consultants bring deep expertise in Data Science, Machine Learning and AI. We are the trusted analytics partner for multiple Fortune 500 companies, enabling them to generate business value from data. We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to support the team in developing innovative solutions to build and evolve the next generation of our advertising measurement framework. The role requires hands-on experience with Python, Databricks, and Azure and the ability to lead end-to-end model development and deployment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance Marketing Mix Models (MMM) to measure the impact of marketing investments across channels.
  • Integrate Multi-Touch Attribution (MTA) and other attribution frameworks to complement MMM insights and improve marketing measurement accuracy.
  • Apply machine learning and causal inference techniques to quantify marketing effectiveness and uncover drivers of performance.
  • Partner with marketing stakeholders to evaluate campaign performance, budget allocation, and ROI optimization strategies.
  • Translate complex modeling outputs into clear insights and strategic recommendations for marketing and leadership teams.
  • Analyze the effectiveness of different marketing channels including ATL, digital, experiential, and performance marketing.
  • Design and conduct experiments, incrementality tests, and causal analysis to measure marketing impact.
  • 5-7 years of professional experience in Data Science, Analytics, or related roles.
  • Experience in Data Science, Marketing Analytics, or Econometrics with a focus on Marketing Mix Modeling or Marketing Measurement.
  • Strong expertise in MMM methodologies, statistical modeling, and regression techniques.
  • Proficiency in Python or R for statistical analysis and machine learning.
  • Experience with large datasets, data wrangling, and model development.
  • Experience working with marketing data such as media spend, campaign metrics, sales, and customer data.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate analytical insights into business recommendations.
