On our team, you’ll use your leadership skills and data science expertise to create real-world impact within the electromagnetic domain of warfare. You’ll work closely with customers to understand their questions and needs, and then dig into their data-rich environments to find the pieces of their information puzzle. You’ll guide teammates and lead the development of algorithms and systems. You’ll use the right combination of tools and frameworks to turn sets of disparate data points into objective answers to advise your customer as they make informed decisions. You’ll ask questions that only a subject matter expert would ask as data science is applied to electromagnetic spectrum operations (EMSO) and electromagnetic warfare (EW), within the air, land, sea, space, and cyber, domains at the operational, strategic, and national level. Ultimately, you’ll provide a deep understanding of the data, what it all means, and how it can be used.

You Have:
5+ years of experience with statistical and general-purpose programming languages for data analysis
Experience with analyzing structured and unstructured data sources and developing predictive data models, quantitative analyses, and visualization of targeted data sources
Experience with developing in a classified environment
Experience with leading the development of solutions to complex programs
Experience with machine learning, natural language processing, data science, or data research activities in a professional or academic environment
Experience with machine learning frameworks, including Keras, TensorFlow, and PyTorch
Knowledge of data exploration, data cleaning, data analysis, data visualization, or data mining, including large data stores at an expert level
Ability to articulate workflows and explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
Nice If You Have:
Experience with the development of algorithms leveraging R, Python, SQL, or NoSQL
Experience with distributed data and computing tools, including MapReduce, Hadoop, Hive, EMR, Kafka, Spark, Gurobi, or MySQL
Experience with machine or deep learning model building
Experience with visualization packages, including Plotly, Seaborn, or ggplot2
Experience in working with multi-disciplinary Agile teams
Knowledge of command and control or spectrum management systems and capabilities
Knowledge of RF Theory and waveforms, Joint Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (JEMSO) environments, and planning, execution, and assessment of EMSO
Ability to write reports and information papers, prepare graphics, and analyze operational data
TS/SCI clearance
Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field

The projected compensation range for this position is $96,600.00 to $220,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
