Responsibilities

• Data Services Engineers for the Chicago, IL location.


• Provide day-to-day support for the firm’s proprietary software trading environment.


• Work directly with Traders, Trade Developers, Platform Developers, and IT Team members to automate and maintain systems for deployment of trading software, configuration management, CI/CD, and back testing pipelines.


• Work with end users to design software monitoring and altering systems that can be used to catch and diagnose issues in real-time to help ensure the health of IT systems.


• Technical Environment: Gitlab, ELK stack, InfluxDB, VMWare, Docker/Kubernetes, FastAPI, C++, SQL Databases, Postgres, Electron, Angular, React, Active Directory, Nodejs, Typescript, Python, AWS, API Security, JWT Authentication, Time Series Data (Tick Data), Tick DB, Pcaps.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field plus 2 years of experience in software development required.


• Required Skills: Gitlab, ELK stack, InfluxDB, VMWare, Docker/Kubernetes, FastAPI, C++, SQL Databases, Postgres, Electron, Angular, React, Active Directory, Nodejs, Typescript, Python, AWS, API Security, JWT Authentication, Time Series Data (Tick Data), Tick DB, Pcaps.


• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, plus five years of progressive experience in software development, also acceptable.
