Database Administrator (Clearance Required)

**This role is remote 
****Must have an Active DoD Clearance
****Experience as a Database Administrator in a DoD Environment 
********This is supporting an upcoming need that will begin fall 2025

Primary Functions: 

• Provide technical assessments for major project planning.
• Administer, test, and implement computer databases, applying knowledge of database management systems.
• Coordinate changes to computer databases.
• Identify, investigate, and resolve database performance issues, database capacity, and database scalability.
• Plan, coordinate, and implement security measures to safeguard computer databases.

• U.S. Citizenship and Active DoD SECRET Clearance required.
• Bachelor's degree in quantitative field
  • SUBSITUTION: Associate degree plus two years of additional relevant work experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
• 3+ years of professional experience with Database Administrator within a DoD/Federal environment.
• Must have experience supporting a legacy system ---> cloud migration utilizing SQL Reporting.
• Experience supporting USN/DoD is preferred.
• Preferred- Experience with All Weapons Information Systems (USN).
