Title: Database Administrator (SAG/ACE/ADABAS/RHEL Event Replicator) -- USC/GC/W2 Only

Location: Columbia, SC

Compensation: $96,134-$103,084 DOE + PTO, 401K, Benefits, etc.

AHS is searching for a DBA. This is a dual role within the IT Technical Support group which supports the company’s Information Technology Infrastructure. This role will play a role of a DBA and an application Developer.

Scope of the project:

• This position supports Software AG’s (SAG) Adabas databases and associated products running on the LINUX operating system, CONNX/ACE. It involves regular day to day activities for DBA (backup, recovery of Databases), Maintenance of SAG’s Natural (application Development), SQL gateway, Entirex broker Event and Event Replicator.
• This position will develop and maintain computer programs in Natural Programing for Health Insurance and Retirement LOB.
• This role is also responsible to provide assistance and support for the upgrades of all associated Adabas database product.
• This position will require some after-hours work.

Daily Duties / Responsibilities:
• Backup and Recovery of SAG Databases in LINUX environment.
• Maintenance of SAG’s Natural (application Development), SQL gateway, Entirex broker Event and Event Replicator.
• Maintenance of SAG query tools and Query Structures (ACE).
• Application Development in Natural
