Responsibilities:

Lead the cloud database team in developing and implementing cloud database solutions.
Collaborate with infrastructure and application development teams to support the adoption of cloud database solutions.
Develop a strategy and roadmap for migrating from private cloud to public cloud databases.
Lead engineering and support teams to facilitate modernization efforts.
Align with the cloud platform team and application development teams on modernization plans.
Create a mature Aurora PostgreSQL database service with self-service capabilities for customers.
Manage audit and regulatory reviews related to cloud databases.
Drive automation initiatives for both public and private cloud databases.
Provide strong people leadership to empower and engage team members.

Requirements:
Minimum of 10 years of database engineering, delivery, and support experience.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Ability to build partnerships across teams and foster an innovative culture.
Technical leadership in cloud database technologies, with a focus on AWS.
Proficiency in automation and orchestration tools like Terraform, Groovy, Jenkins, and GitLab.
Familiarity with SDLC management and Agile methodology.
