Database Engineer - Join a Market Leader

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Database Engineer with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract position.

Requirements:

• At least 7 years real-world experience of database design and development using Oracle 12c or higher
• At least 7 years experience developing packages and stored procedures using PL/SQL
• At least 7 years experience working with querying XML/JSON database structures
• Experience and proficient knowledge of how to troubleshoot and performance tune queries
• Experience working with Toad 12.x or higher
• Able to translate complex database ideas in terms a non-technical user can understand utilizing excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge and experience using Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM)
• Knowledge reading, interpreting, and explaining Automatic Workload Repository (AWR) reports
• Experience developing with JDK for PL/SQL, Java, Oracle Stored procedures
• Knowledge and awareness of other non-Oracle DBMS technologies
• Good understanding of MicroServices Architecture
