Day Service DSP - Ballston Spa

Make a meaningful difference every day in a supportive, community-focused environment! We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Day Services Direct Support Professional to join our team.

Role Details: 

• Pay Rate: $19.00 / hour 


• Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM


• Status: Full-time 35-hours a week 


• Location: Ballston Spa 

What You'll Do: 

As a DSP you will empower the people that we support to thrive, build independence, and engage with their community. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: 

• Implementing Service Plans: Supporting those we work with towards accomplishing their daily goals and documenting progress


• Community Involvement: Guiding and assisting those we support in typical community settings 


• Skill Building: Help with developing personal hygiene, safety and daily living routines


• Mobility and Personal Care: Assisting with transfers (including wheelchairs), personal hygiene, and boarding agency vehicles 

Qualifications: 

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent 


• Experience: Previous experience in human services preferred (we provide PAID TRAINING) 


• Driver's License: A valid NYS driver's license that is acceptable to agency standards
