$35-$55/ hour

Overview of role:

The CNC Machine Tool Field Service Technician/Engineer provides advanced technical support, installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of complex equipment and systems at customer locations. This specialized role requires high technical expertise and problem-solving skills to resolve complex issues efficiently. A successful candidate will work closely with customers to ensure the equipment is installed, maintained, and serviced according to industry standards and client needs. This role often involves working independently or as part of a specialized team to resolve unique and high-priority technical challenges in the field.

Key Deliverables:

· Install, configure, commission, and repair advanced equipment and systems at customer sites, ensuring proper setup and functionality.

· Ability to learn and utilize multiple different types of diagnostic tools and techniques.

· Provide expert-level maintenance, repair, and upgrades to systems, addressing both routine and high-priority problems.

· Create and maintain detailed service reports, document existing technical issues, solutions, parts used, and customer interactions.

· Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards during all service operations.

· Lead or participate in small- and large-scale projects, as part of a team to achieve common goals and satisfy project requirements.

· Serve as a point of contact for escalated service calls, ensuring the highest level of service and technical expertise is delivered.

· Develop and improve maintenance manuals, technical documents, and standard operating procedures.
