Day Shift Haul Unit Operator

What You’ll Be Doing

• Operate haul trucks and mobile equipment to safely and efficiently move materials on site.

• Conduct pre‑ and post‑operation inspections and report equipment issues promptly.

• Follow designated haul routes, traffic controls, and safety procedures at all times.

• Support production activities by coordinating with loader operators and plant personnel.

• Adjust driving and operation based on road, weather, and worksite conditions.

• Ability to follow directions, understand haul patterns, and maintain consistent productivity.

• Effective communication and teamwork skills in an active production environment.

• Ability to work outdoors and adapt to shifting work demands.

Conditions of Employment

• Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug screen, and background check.

• Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.

Work Environment

Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
