Day Trade School

This pre-apprenticeship training prepares you to start a career in one of the Skilled Trades.... Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, or Carpentry.

Only those seeking full-time employment and a career in the construction trades qualify for this training.

Training is Monday-Thursday from 8:00am to 2:00pm. for 12 weeks beginning January 12, 2026.

                                     Tuition: $950

     In-person interviews & aptitude assessment required for acceptance.

   Eligibility requirements:

      1. Age 18 - 35 

      2. High school diploma or GED

      3. eligible to work in the U.S.

      4. ability to pass a drug screen and a background check

      5. valid driver's license & clean driving record

Upon satisfactory completion of training, you will be required to complete a 400-hour paid internship with West Alabama Contractors through our STePS employment placement service.

                                              Skilled Trades does not pay lodging expenses.
