Responsibilities:
Assist classroom teachers in daily classroom activities and lessons.
Provide a safe and engaging learning environment for children.
Support children in their social, emotional, and developmental needs.
Supervise children during playtime, meals, and nap times.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom and play areas.
Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers about children's day.
Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.
Adapt to various classroom needs as a floater across different age groups.
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED mandatory
Previous experience working with children in a daycare or educational setting is preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Passion for early childhood education and child development.
Flexibility, positive attitude and a nurturing demeanor.
