Daycare Groomer (Bath-Focused Role)

Are you an experienced groomer who enjoys coat care but no longer wants the daily pressure of haircut precision and style corrections?

At Four-Legged Fun Zone, we’ve created a bath-focused grooming lane designed for professionals who still love working hands-on with dogs — without the stress of scissoring expectations or full-groom production demands. You’ll work independently in a private bathing suite while being part of a structured, professional team.

What This Role Includes

This position serves our daycare clients and consists of baths and nail trims. Full haircuts are not part of this role and are not required or expected.

If you choose to occasionally perform a minor tidy (such as a small paw touch-up), we offer a structured upcharge — but full grooming services are not assigned in this position.

Compensation

This is a 50% commission position and 100% of tips are yours. Starting earnings per dog:

• 1–25 lbs: $25–$35
• 26–60 lbs: $30–$55
• 61–85 lbs: $37.50–$62.50
• 86+ lbs: $47.50–$67.50

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of professional dog bathing/grooming experience (paid work, solo responsibility)
• Remained in a single paid bather/groom position for at least 12 consecutive months at the same company
• Live less than 30 minutes from our facility (6628 Evergreen Way, Everett 98203)
• Comfortable handling large dogs (60–175 lbs) safely and performing frequent nail trims
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs independently
• Clear, friendly communication with clients
• Ability to pass a federal background check
