EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS:
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and general computer operation is required.
Working knowledge of a Mailroom environment is required.
Working knowledge of badge checking
Working knowledge of badging office requirements.
Strong working knowledge of disability management and awareness.
Knowledge of the Ability One federal law.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and general computer operations is required. (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be authorized for coverage under agency insurance if operating agency vehicle, have good driving record, valid driver’s license, and/or required level of personal auto insurance.
Must be able to satisfactorily complete a background check, per company requirements.

Adequate ability in communicating in spoken conversation – adequate volume speech.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES SUMMARY:
Oversee the success and operation of contract projects.
Plan, execute, and manage employees and the success of the projects.
Provide contract documents in a timely manner.
Prepare documents and keep records in accordance with the PWS.
Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on all project related items and issues
Provides direction to the staff
Ensures that organizational operations are functioning in an effective, efficient and safe manner, in strict compliance with all safety and security regulations.
Responsible for conducting random spot-check inspections
Assists project manager with the day-to-day oversight of mailroom operations and personnel matters.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Arrive on time and ready to work assigned schedule.
Ensure work performed meets or exceeds the requirements of the contract statement of work.
Provide high level of customer service to all patrons, coworkers, and other interested parties.
Meet with the customer contract representatives to discuss work quality issues and customer complaints.
Maintain a professional working relationship with customers, on-site supervisors, administrative and operational support personnel
Conduct meetings/briefings and discuss issues with the management staff as necessary to fulfill company and contract requirements.
Coordinate and visit with customer(s) as necessary on all items concerning the successful contract operation.
Write performance appraisals for employees supervised in accordance with company directives.
Serves as a primary liaison with customers to ensure compliance with contract specifications and resolution of problems and issues, as they arise; arbitrates claims or complaints occurring in performance of contracts.
Continually monitors and evaluates contractor staff performance against contract specifications, and recommends appropriate remedial action as necessary.
Ability to walk 8 plus miles during a 12 hour work day and have the ability to climb many flights of stairs.
Respond to routine telephone calls/requests and handling them in a timely professional manner.
Respond to emails from customer, team, and supervisors in a timely professional manner.
Take direction, interact and maintain open communication with supervisor/lead.
Support the company vision, values, and quality program controls.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES RELATED TO THIS POSITION MAY INCLUDE ANY OF THE FOLLOWING:
Complete and submit all monthly reports in a timely manner
Responsible for on-site leadership and direction of all employees
Ensure that all functions are performed correctly and to be able to provide on the spot corrections and direction
Ensure that all site specific security requirements are being met and followed
Interact with high level officials in a polite and professional manner.
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Adequate hearing required for conversation, telephone use, and emergency information systems.
Ability to independently mobile on all surfaces and situations
Ability to move safely about work area.
Ability to retrieve items from high and low areas
Ability to perceive size, discrimination, temperature, shapes, and/or textures
Physical stamina to work at least 8 hours per day.
Physically able to lift boxes and packages weighing up to 70 pounds using proper equipment and lifting techniques.
