Head Chef / General Manager
Picasso Restaurant Group – Ann Arbor

Picasso Restaurant Group, a leading food service management company, is seeking an experienced Head Chef / General Manager to oversee daily operations at one of our premier accounts. We specialize in providing exceptional dining experiences in hospitals, office buildings, universities, and through full-service catering.

Schedule:

• Primarily Monday – Friday, 6:30 AM – 2:30 PM


• Additional hours as needed for catering events

Responsibilities:

• Lead daily kitchen and front-of-house operations


• Manage, train, and schedule staff to ensure excellent service and efficiency


• Oversee menu planning, food preparation, and quality control


• Handle ordering, inventory, and cost management


• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards


• Work with clients to plan and execute catering events, from small gatherings to large-scale functions


• Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Head Chef, Executive Chef, or General Manager in food service


• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills


• Ability to manage both culinary and operational aspects of food service


• Knowledge of catering operations is highly preferred


• ServSafe Certification (or willingness to obtain)
