Daytime Server in Independent Living

The Lathrop Community, a Kendal affiliate with locations in Easthampton and Northampton, is adding to our dining room team. We are seeking a daytime server for breakfast and lunchtime services, which includes dishwashing and light prep work in between meals. Set amidst the inspiring beauty of western Massachusetts, Lathrop combines a strong sense of place rooted in Quaker values. This is an hourly, non-exempt position, offering $17.50 an hour. Employees are eligible for enrollment in a 403(b) retirement fund, our Employee Assistance Program, and Massachusetts Sick Time.

At Lathrop Community, waitstaff create and maintain an enjoyable dining room experience for residents and guests. This position serves meals to residents in the dining room. Job duties include but are not limited to setting up the dining room for service, taking orders from residents, on-campus meal delivery, and breaking down of dining room after meal service. In addition to serving duties during breakfast and lunch, the daytime server also operates the dishwasher and does light prep work between the meals.
