In this role, you will play a crucial part in designing, building, deploying, and supporting various database infrastructures. Accountabilities
- Design and support critical database infrastructure and automation tools.
- Implement monitoring frameworks to ensure system reliability and efficiency.
- Manage database replication, backups, and observability platforms.
- Conduct root cause analysis and apply preventive measures to improve database performance.
- Script and automate database tasks to enhance operational efficiency.
- Provide technical guidance across teams for infrastructure decisions.
Requirements
- 7+ years of DBA experience with a track record of delivering business value.
- Expertise in AWS Aurora DB, DynamoDB/MongoDB, Redis, and ElasticSearch.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems architecture and fault tolerance.
- Proficiency in Shell, SQL, Ansible, Terraform, and Jenkins.
- Familiarity with Linux or Unix-like operating systems.
- Excellent communication skills for cross-team collaboration.
- Bachelor's degree (BS/BE) in a related field.
