In this role, you will play a crucial part in designing and implementing Snowflake-based analytics solutions, including data lakes and data warehouses on AWS. Your expertise will guide the creation of data pipelines and integration workflows while collaborating with various team members. You will educate others on Snowflake's capabilities and limitations, ensuring that the best practices are followed. By acting as a technical leader, you'll help the team deliver high-quality solutions in an Agile environment.
Accountabilities
- Assist in the design and implementation of Snowflake-based analytics solutions.
- Define requirements and analyze source data for data lake and warehouse design.
- Develop best practices for Snowflake deployment and usage.
- Educate team members on capabilities and limitations of Snowflake.
- Build and maintain data pipelines adhering to enterprise architecture principles.
- Work collaboratively with data architects, scientists, and analysts to resolve technical issues.
- Act as a technical leader within the team, ensuring quality deliverables.
- Translate complex functional requirements into technical solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, or equivalent with 4-7 years in Data Engineering.
- Experience in creating and maintaining data pipeline architecture.
- Proficiency with ETL tools like Talend, DBT, S3, and Snowflake.
- Familiarity with data storage technologies like Amazon S3, SQL, and NoSQL.
- Strong understanding of data modeling and architecture principles.
- Ability to work with stakeholders across different time zones.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
