Job Description - DCL- Administrative Assistant

 Join our team as an Administrative Assistant where you will play a crucial role in supporting our warehouse management staff and overseeing delivery verification and vendor chargeback processes. We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with exceptional organizational skills and a passion for providing top-notch customer service. 

Essential Functions:

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: 

  • Answer inbound phone calls and emails
  • Collaborate with internal departments and manufacturers as required to service our customers
  • Prepare, review and distribute reports as needed
  • View and approve third party delivery billing
  • Submit chargebacks to third party delivery company or other vendors
  • Enter approved chargebacks in QuickBooks

Requirements

Minimum Requirements (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):
High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

  • Proven experience in an administrative role or similar capacity.
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and QuickBooks is required.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively.
  • Experience in data entry and maintaining accurate records.
  • Initiative to meet assigned goals, missions and objectives.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate and build rapport.
  • Includes working indoors in a warehouse environment which is subject to temperature changes not easily controlled by heating or air conditioning.

Light Exerting up to 20 lbs. of force occasionally and/or up to 10 lbs. of force frequently and/or negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. Physical demand requirements are in excess of those for Sedentary Work.

Definitions:

Occasionally: activity or condition exists up to 1/3 of the time

Frequently: activity or condition exists from 1/3 to 2/3 of the time

Constantly: activity or condition exists 2/3 or more of the time
