Description \n\nThis leadership role leads all aspects of service operations for DDP Service Business Unit (SBU) supporting the after-market business for Applied materials product group. The leader engages cross-functionally to deliver world class services to Applied Materials\u2019 customers in the semiconductor industry. This is an entrepreneurial high growth business opportunity within the Applied Global Services Business Unit\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nLead DDP SBU FSO focal team to support Service revenue growth and Margin Improvement with the following key focus areas-\n\n * Field Performance Management \u2013 Monitors service contract KPIs; capture field learning, drive corrective actions, implement cost reduction programs\n * Service Product support \u2013 Drives field qualification, adoption of service solutions (Alx, material and component Engineering) to meet KPI and demonstrate service value.\n * HVP Discovery \u2013 Identify customer HVPs, tool failure modes and chronic issues for service capability development\n * Partner with AGS focal to drive service contract penetrations\n * Field Readiness \u0026 Scaling \u2013 Ensures CE training, documentation and certification for NPIs and sPDP\n * Escalation \u0026 Issue Resolution \u2013 Serves as escalation point for complex field issues; coordinates with FSO, TSE, and BU productivity teams\n * Productivity Improvement/ I\u0026W Cost Optimization \u2013 Collaborates on I\u0026W cost reduction projects; Drive field productivity improvement programs\n * Supports development of business requirements and drives enterprise system improvement to support business needs.\n * Supports selection, development and maintenance of Ops/SC partner and vendor ecosystem for refurbishment and kit clean programs\n * Oversees and matrix influences all functions and partners to deliver contract performance.\n * Builds strong teams and cross-functional engagement across multiple geographies \u0026 external partners including FSO, AGS Engineering, BU Ops, WWOPs, Finance, Legal etc.\n * Communicates progress /execution to senior executives and stakeholders\n\n\n\nDesired Skills, Competencies \u0026 Experience\n\n * Technical degree with minimum 10+ years of relevant experience. CVD Hardware/Process knowledge and Fab experience is a plus\n * Extremely proactive and strong leadership by example, can lead/manage through ambiguity\n * Strong operations experience with a performance-based track record, productivity leadership experience a plus.\n * Strong engineering (industrial engineering preference), quality systems, program management background\n * Customer focused - Strong business acumen with previous engineering experience\n * Highly respected technical and operations focused leader\n * Experience with production line or semiconductor manufacturing environment processes\n * Positive can-do hands-on entrepreneurial attitude that builds support\n * Strong communication skills and interpersonal presence that extends confidence and humility\n * Experience building and delivering senior executive level presentations\n * Ability to effectively manage and deliver to multiple KPIs\n * Critical thinking and ability to influence and communicate effectively with multiple internal stakeholders (engineering, finance, quality, strategy, management)\n * Excellent time management and project management skills \n\n\n\nInterpersonal Skills\n\n * Negotiates, influences and collaborates with senior executives both internally and with customer organizations; exercises sensitivity to the audience.\n\n\n\n## Qualifications\n\n### Education:\n\nBachelor\u0027s Degree\n\n### Skills\n\n### Certifications:\n\n### Languages:\n\n### Years of Experience:\n\n15+ Years\n\n### Work Experience:\n\n## Additional Information\n\n### \n\n### Shift:\n\n10-Day 8-Hr (United States of America)\n\n### \n\n### Travel:\n\nYes, 25% of the Time\n\n### \n\n### Relocation Eligible:\n\nYes\n\n### Referral Payment Plan:\n\nEmployee Referral (Standard)\n\nU.S. Salary Range:\n\n$210,000.00 - $289,000.00\n\nThe salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members.
